POTTER’S WHEEL TASTER | 1.5 HOURS | £65 pp

Discover the magic of the potter’s wheel on this hands-on, immersive workshop. Designed for complete beginners (ages 7+), you’ll learn the essential skills of throwing, gain confidence with clay, and experience the joy of creating your own pottery. Whether you come solo, as a couple, or with a group, this taster session is all about learning, experimenting, and having fun!

WHAT TO EXPECT

The workshop begins with a full demonstration from one of our expert potters, who will guide you through the five key steps of throwing a pot. Then it’s your turn at the wheel! You’ll receive step-by-step guidance, practical tips, and support as needed to help you master the basic techniques.

Pottery takes practice, so don’t worry if your first pots are wobbly or even collapse—this is all part of the fun and learning process. With unlimited clay, you can experiment, try different shapes, and create as many pieces as you like, developing your confidence and creativity with every attempt.

At the end of the session, choose your favorite pot to take home—we’ll carefully box it for you. Additional creations are available for just £4 each. Your pots will air dry naturally and can be painted at home, making beautiful decorative items for display, jewellery pots, or dried flowers.
