CANDLESTICK WORKSHOP | 2 HOURS | £80 pp

Create a unique handmade candlestick on this cosy seasonal pottery workshop. Learn the fundamentals of wheel throwing and slip decoration as you craft your own timeless candle holder. Suitable for all skill levels.

WHAT TO EXPECT

The workshop begins with a demonstration, where we'll explore a variety of candlestick styles – from classic and elegant to rustic and characterful – while introducing the techniques needed to create them.

You'll then spend around an hour at the potter's wheel, throwing several candle holders as you practise different shapes and forms with plenty of guidance throughout. Afterwards, you’ll choose your favourite piece to hand-decorate using colourful ceramic slips, adding your own creative touches.

We'll professionally glaze your chosen candlestick holder with a clear stoneware glaze and fire it twice in our kiln. Your bespoke piece will be ready to collect approximately four weeks later.
