Terms & Conditions of Booking
Please read carefully before booking and get in touch if you have any questions.
Please attend on time to all workshops. A certain amount of time is allocated to each session and therefore we will always start at the time advertised. If you are more that 15-20 minutes late it may not be possible for you to participate in the workshop as the tutor would have to go over the same material again which is unfair to the other workshop participants.
Workshop cancellations by us
In the unlikely event that we have to cancel a workshop you will be given at least 24 hours notice and offered a transfer to another date, voucher to be used at another time, or a full refund. We will not be held liable for any other costs or expenses that you may incur in the event of cancellation by us.
Workshop cancellations by you
We urge you to carefully check your diary to ensure that you are available to attend any workshops you are booking with us. If circumstances change, or something pops up and you are unable to attend, unfortunately all our workshops and classes are non-refundable however can be transferred upon request (outlined below). You can send someone in your place at any time (without incurring a fee), but please note that this is your responsibility to find a replacement person and you must let us know in advance who will be attending.
Cancellations/ requests to transfer to an alternative date are subject to availability and must be made in writing by email.
If you cancel a place on a workshop, giving more than 14 days notice, we will be happy to move your booking however a £4 administration fee will be incurred.
If you cancel a place on a workshop, giving less than 14 days notice you will be charged 15% of the workshop fee in order to reschedule.
If you cancel a place on a workshop, giving less than 7 days notice you will be charged 25% of the workshop fee in order to reschedule.
If you cancel a place on a workshop, giving less than 48 hours notice you will be charged 50% of the workshop fee in order to reschedule.
Regrettably same day cancellations or failure to attend your workshop will result in the loss of the full workshop fee.
Any personal information you give to us will be processed in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 and the new data protection legislation in GDPR from May 2018. The data we hold is purely used to contact customers about their booking/courses/classes prior to their arrival, during the course of classes/courses and afterwards in relation to delivery of pottery or any items left behind. We do not contact customers (past, present or future) with any information regarding promotions or future events at Honeybourne Pottery. All promotional marketing of this nature is undertaken via our website, on our Facebook page, Twitter, printed materials and advertising.
The data we hold on customers includes the booking date, lead booking contact name/ email address/ contact telephone number. A postal address is also recorded if delivery of pottery items is required. Any personal data you provide may be held on computer files for up to 12 months. We often take photographs of participants attending workshops to use on our social media pages and website, but always seek permission before doing so.
