Corporate Team Building Workshops
Our pottery workshops provide a brilliant hands-on, team building exercise which encourages participants to interact and work together. You don't need any artistic skill in order for this to be enjoyable and successful. It's very rewarding for the whole team at what can be achieved.
Everybody can do it and participants are always filled with a huge sense of achievement. Workshops can be undertaken at the pottery studio or at a venue of your choice. We will discuss your aims for the session with you and can tailor the workshop to reflect this if required.
Should you have any addition requests/needs please call us on 07900208550 to discuss or get in touch using our Enquiry Form.
Option 1 - Pot Throw & Decorate Workshop, £25pp
Learn a new skill and try your hand at making your very own pot on the potter's wheel during our 75 minute workshop. Expert instructors will be on hand to help and ensure even the least artistic person will be proud of their creation. After getting cleaned up, you can relax and spend time as a team painting your pots using our range of coloured slips.
Your masterpieces will then be left at the pottery for firing & glazing to change your clay creations into usable ceramic pieces. Pots will be ready approx. 5-6 weeks after the workshop.
- Optional Extra -
Large Collaborative Bowl, +£48
Decorate a large hand-thrown bowl as a team, made by one of our professional potter's. Your collaborative bowl can be used in the workplace as a permanent reminder of your achievements.
Option 2 - Collaborative Clay Modelling Workshop, £35pp
This two hour session works particularly well with larger groups of 10-20 people. Following a demonstration on how to get started, participants are split into smaller groups. Each group is assigned a word or concept to brainstorm, with the theme usually based around your company values. Everybody works on designing and making an individual tile as well as a collaborative team tile which everyone has had a hand in making. Decorative slips are used to add colour to the tiles bringing your designs to life. Once complete, all the tiles from each team are brought together and each group is encouraged to present their ideas to the others in open discussion which concludes the workshop.
The work is then left at the studio to be fired and given a clear glaze. The tiles are linked together and ready approx. 5-6 weeks later. Once installed at your place of work, the tile masterpiece serves as a permanent reminder of what can be achieved through effective teamwork.
Option 3 - Potter's Wheel Taster Workshop + Pot Decoration, £50pp
Channel your inner potter on our Taster Workshop and spin a number of pots on the wheel during this hour and a half long session! Demonstration on how to get started, along with expert tuition is on hand throughout. Create truly unique pieces from bowls, dishes, vases to mugs and more! This workshop works exceptionally well with small groups of 8-12 people. We have 8 potter’s wheels so participants can switch between spectating and getting messy! After your time on the wheel ends, you will select a pot of your choice to decorate using our range of coloured slips. All your creations will be left at the studio to be professionally fired and given a clear glaze. Pots will be ready approx. 5-6 weeks later.
Cost is £50pp for the first 8 people & £20pp for each additional person beyond a group of 8.
"I took my management team out to Honeybourne Pottery for a teambuilding session this week. We were warmly welcomed by Annabel with a cup of coffee. I had described to Annabel over the phone, the type of piece I wanted the team to create. It was a pleasant surprise to find Annabel had knocked a miniature version of what I described to give the team an idea of what an earth to do! She guided us along the way and was on hand when we had questions. A great afternoon out!!" Simon
"Massive thanks from all of us here at Little Soap Company for yesterday afternoon. We really enjoyed ourselves- it was the perfect fun way to spend some time together away from the madness of an office environment!" Anna
