CANDLESTICK MAKING WORKSHOP | 2 HOURS | £80 pp

Make this festive season glow! Throw and hand-decorate your own candlesticks on the potter’s wheel, creating a timeless keepsake to light cozy winter nights. Perfect for all skill levels.

WHAT TO EXPECT

The workshop begins with a demonstration, where we’ll explore a variety of candlestick styles – from classic and elegant to rustic and characterful – to help spark your creativity.

You’ll then spend around an hour at the potter’s wheel, throwing several candle holders as you experiment with different shapes and styles. Afterwards, you’ll choose your favourite piece to hand-decorate with colourful slips, adding your own creative touches.

We’ll finish your chosen candlestick with a professional clear stoneware glaze and fire it twice in our kiln. Your bespoke piece will be ready to collect approximately four weeks later. You’ll also be able to select a second piece to take home the same day; this can be left to air-dry and decorated at your leisure.

Whether you’re seeking a fun seasonal activity, a thoughtful handmade gift, or simply the joy of slowing down and crafting something unique by hand, this special workshop is the perfect way to get creative and cosy this winter.
