FAQs

How can I book a pottery class?

All bookings are made via our online booking system. To check availability and book please click here.

When are you open?

Our workshops typically run Friday - Sunday. Midweek classes may be arranged on request for group bookings.

What should I wear?

Pottery is a messy business - please wear clothes you don't mind getting a little clay splattered along with suitable footwear, (the clay doesn’t stain and will wash out easily). Aprons aren’t essential, but can be hired at £2 each when making a booking or feel free to bring your own. For health & safety, we ask that long hair is tied back and rings/watches/bracelets be removed before using the potter’s wheel. You may also wish to trim long nails as they can get in the way of your creative expression!

Can my child/children attend a class with me?

Our minimum age is 7+ years for our potter’s wheel workshops. We ask that under 16s are supervised at all times by their parent or guardian while at the studio.

Do you have wheelchair access?

The studio has disability access and the potter’s wheels are suitable for wheelchair users, however we regret that our WC facilities are not wheelchair accessible. If you have restricted mobility please let us know on the booking form so we can meet any specific needs.

Are dogs allowed?

We don’t allow customers to bring their dogs unfortunately as other participants on the workshop may not be comfortable with a dog being present. We occasionally have our lovable pooch Harry ‘Potter’ around, but always check people are happy with him being present on the day.

Where can I park?

We don't have our own a car park, however free on-street parking is available on the High Street or a short walk from the studio.
