Pot Throw & Decorate Workshop
Create a single pot on the wheel, decorate it on the day & leave with us for kiln firing & glazing!
Our Pot Throw & Decorate Workshop is a great option for children & adults of all ages, wishing to try the wheel once. Full demonstration is given at the start of the workshop, so ideal for complete beginners.
The workshop begins with a short demonstration. Then its your turn to jump on the potter's wheel and have a go at throwing your very own pot. Expert instructors will be on hand to help and ensure even the least artistic person will be proud of their creation. After getting cleaned up, you can then relax and spend time painting your pot using our range of decorative slips. Your finished masterpiece will then be left at the studio, where it will be fired and glazed for a permanent ceramic finish. You will be notified by email approx. 5-6 weeks later when your pot will be ready to collect.
Plenty of help is provided for younger children under 5 years old, so the adults can focus on making their own pots on the wheel.

"Thank you very much for the pottery session my sister and I attended yesterday. We really enjoyed it and I am looking forward to seeing our finished glazed three items in 4-6 weeks. See you soon and have a good Easter. Many thanks again."
"Had a great time being creative, big thank you to Alan for teaching us. Would recommend this activity, great fun!"
"Thank you for a wonderful couple of hours last week. Hailey and Heather thoroughly enjoyed it, as did I. It was something very different which none of us had ever tried before. But you also provide a lovely atmosphere, friendly and helpful. We left with big smiles, proud of what we had achieved." Garry
